Sad fetus syndrome: a rare case report

چکیده

Gestational trophoblastic disease (GTD) is a condition that develops from abnormal proliferation of placental trophoblasts. A rare division GTD partial mole with co-existing live fetus-a also referred to as “sad fetus syndrome” We report case 24-year-old, primigravida 26 weeks gestational age single intrauterine gestation coexisting molar pregnancy who had spontaneous preterm delivery at 27 weeks. The post-natal period was uneventful and patient followed up till βhcg normalised. diagnostic challenges dilemma associated the management pregnancies an apparently normal fetus, especially in second trimester, remains challenging.
